Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does Heirvale do?
Heirvale is an education and record-organisation service. We explain, in plain language, how Malaysian families typically arrange their estate affairs, which official bodies and professionals handle different matters, and how to organise your own documents into a clear personal file. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or any service that requires a professional licence.
Is this legal advice?
No. None of our programmes constitute legal advice, and nothing we provide should be treated as such. We always encourage participants to consult a licensed solicitor, estate planner, or the relevant official bodies for personal decisions. Our role is to help you arrive at those conversations more informed and better prepared.
Who are the sessions designed for?
Our programmes are designed for Malaysian adults who want to understand how estate organisation generally works and who wish to have their own records in clear, accessible order. This includes individuals planning ahead for their families, adult children helping ageing parents, or anyone who finds that their important documents are scattered and difficult to locate.
How long does each programme take?
The Legacy Orientation Session is typically completed in a single two-to-three hour appointment. The Records Organisation Service usually spans two to three working sessions, depending on the volume and current state of your documents. The Family Legacy Companion Programme is a multi-session engagement, usually spread over four to six weeks, at a pace that suits you.
What are the fees, and how do I pay?
Fees are RM 560 for the Legacy Orientation Session, RM 2,100 for the Records Organisation Service, and RM 4,450 for the Family Legacy Companion Programme. Payment details, including accepted methods and scheduling of instalments where applicable, are discussed at the time of enquiry. We are transparent about what is included and what is not.
Are sessions conducted in person or online?
We are based in Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur, and can accommodate in-person appointments at our office. For clients who prefer remote sessions, online video consultations are available for most programme components. Please mention your preference when you enquire and we will arrange accordingly.
How is my information kept confidential?
We take the privacy of your family's information seriously. Any documents or details shared with us in the course of a programme are used solely to assist with your record organisation work and are not shared with third parties. You remain in control of your own records throughout. Please see our Privacy Policy for further details.
